The supporters of Canarinho Atordoado booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39thth minute of the game Peter Mpenza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Canarinho Atordoado's Peter Mpenza in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 80th minute, Igor Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Willy Stieler kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Canarinho Atordoado's Peter Mpenza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven Krakouer during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
