Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ragnar Lönn started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes Club 23 got a freekick which was hit by Niculae Cângea. In the 9th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Vuia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remus Vuia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club 23's goalkeeper Remus Vuia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Club 23's Niculae Cângea got a free kick in the 20th minute. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liu Chao Xiao in the 26th minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remus Vuia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Niculae Cângea was shown his second yellow card after 43 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Club 23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niculae Cângea didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Club 23 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. Club 23's Valeriu Toacsen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gust Ennemans in the 54 minute of the game. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Remus Vuia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Club 23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ragnar Lönn didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Ragnar Lönn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club 23's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. Club 23's Leonard Grindeanu was substituted for Ragnar Lönn. Club 23 made a substitution. Aron Chițes replaced Liu Chao Xiao. Club 23's Remus Vuia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Club 23 from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes into the match, Club 23's goalkeeper Remus Vuia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Remus Vuia threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lars Meesters, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Vuia having to interfere. Roch Marud charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roch Marud the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Club 23:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Netherlands:s goal. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club 23 throughout the match.
