Takacs Tibor took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tanek Zurawski. Tanek Zurawski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Balazs Lajos hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Tanek Zurawski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balazs Lajos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fodor Daniel was a little too slow when Damian Domala got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-1. The audience was convinced that Hugon Pyczkowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Robertinho Lewandowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robertinho Lewandowski succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Tanek Zurawski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Takacs Tibor notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Gleszcz SSA's Tanek Zurawski. Tanek Zurawski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tanek Zurawski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hegedus Henrik, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The corner led to Hungary's Balazs Lajos getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Izydor Bulkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Gleszcz SSA's Fodor Daniel threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hugon Pyczkowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Antal Valentin kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugon Pyczkowski in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugon Pyczkowski in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. After having played for 57 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanek Zurawski having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Hungary's Hegedus Henrik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tanek Zurawski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tanek Zurawski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Gleszcz SSA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. Tanek Zurawski made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugon Pyczkowski in the 81st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Takacs Tibor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tanek Zurawski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Katona Janos got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Gleszcz SSA succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Hungary had controlled the match.
