Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frank Sachs made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo de Mar del's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Medardo came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Saturnino Gilabert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of San Lorenzo de Mar del booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Sachs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by San Lorenzo de Mar del's Sergio Blai. But to his dismay, Sergio Blai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to San Lorenzo de Mar del getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Saturnino Gilabert hit a great ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akamas Farmakis in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Saturnino Gilabert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonides Medardo saved San Lorenzo de Mar del from getting behind. When Cristian Montrelle fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Lorenzo de Mar del's protests and gave Cristian Montrelle a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes San Lorenzo de Mar del got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Montrelle. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Domingo Olando sent off a good shot on target. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 31st minute, Frank Sachs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Domingo Olando notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as San Lorenzo de Mar del's Domingo Olando slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 4-0 after 37 minutes of play. Cristian Montrelle might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Montrelle ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute, Saturnino Gilabert made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saturnino Gilabert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Domingo Olando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 58th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Mar del's goalkeeper Leonides Medardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Boleslaw Opat fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Lorenzo de Mar del's protests and gave Boleslaw Opat a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, one of San Lorenzo de Mar del:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for San Lorenzo de Mar del. After 64 played minutes San Lorenzo de Mar del got a freekick which was hit by Luis Aurken. San Lorenzo de Mar del's Domingo Olando got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Domingo Olando made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After having played for 71 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Olando in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Saturnino Gilabert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Saturnino Gilabert didn't quite understand what happened when in the 82 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by San Lorenzo de Mar del's Domingo Olando. But to his dismay, Domingo Olando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. The audience was convinced that Saturnino Gilabert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willy Stieler during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willy Stieler to maneuver through the defense. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Olando in the 98th minute of the match. San Lorenzo de Mar del's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
