When Erling Franks fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skovbølling's protests and gave Erling Franks a yellow card for diving instead. Erling Franks hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Skovbølling getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Kay Bordoy hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Skovbølling's Erling Franks slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fodor Daniel. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Skovbølling's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertel Foltmann came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Skovbølling's Bertel Foltmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute Balazs Lajos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertel Foltmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Absalon Aabaand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Absalon Aabaand came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fodor Daniel could save by the left post. The supporters of Hungary booed when Skovbølling was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kay Bordoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Absalon Aabaand to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Erling Franks came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Skovbølling's goalkeeper Bertel Foltmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Major Barna. Hungary:s Fodor Daniel showed great skill when he stopped Paw Carbac:s penalty. Kay Bordoy hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Absalon Aabaand kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. In the 69thth minute of the game Absalon Aabaand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Skovbølling's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paw Carbac in the 74th minute. After 75 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paw Carbac who took care of the corner kick. In the 78th minute, Kay Harsbøll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Boros Benedek hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Absalon Aabaand in the 81st minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Bertel Foltmann in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Absalon Aabaand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frede Raundorf in the 89th minute of play. Hegedus Henrik kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Absalon Aabaand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erling Franks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Absalon Aabaand in the 97th minute of the match. Major Barna kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match.
