Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maksim Dunaevskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Gleb Stroganov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 8th minute of the match. Gleb Stroganov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hegedus Henrik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gleb Stroganov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 21st minute of play forced Geo-Winner's goalkeeper Gleb Stroganov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Major Barna hit a great ball. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gleb Stroganov having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Maksim Dunaevskiy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Geo-Winner fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Geo-Winner's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Veniamin Gorshkov in the 38th minute. Maksim Dunaevskiy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gleb Stroganov having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, Geo-Winner was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maksim Dunaevskiy to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Geo-Winner's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Gleb Stroganov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Geo-Winner's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest.

After a defensive mix-up in Geo-Winner's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gleb Stroganov came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Antal Valentin could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Gleb Stroganov however easily saved by the left post. Gleb Stroganov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hegedus Henrik in the 55th minute. A collision led to Geo-Winner getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Petr Klimovskiy hit a great ball. Gleb Stroganov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hegedus Henrik went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Gleb Stroganov made a huge save. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Gleb Stroganov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. In the 81st minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Hungary booed when Geo-Winner was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge-Luis Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geo-Winner's Gleb Stroganov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Geo-Winner from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute, Hungary's Antal Valentin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
