Fabrizio Adriano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Davide Spadoni reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Fabrizio Adriano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Fabrizio Adriano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute of the match, Fabrizio Adriano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tommy Kahn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Fabrizio Adriano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrizio Adriano, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Fabrizio Adriano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Fabrizio Adriano scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 2-0. Fabrizio Adriano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabrizio Adriano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 3-0 in the 36 minute of play. Enrico Romanese kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabrizio Adriano might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabrizio Adriano ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Bar Marconi United's Eraldo Di Mattia was substituted for Alfonso Andreozzi. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabrizio Adriano was the one to do the kick off. Fabrizio Adriano took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrizio Adriano in the 59th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Bar Marconi United got a freekick which was hit by Cesare Talamo. Horea Balint showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrizio Adriano in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bar Marconi United's Adriano Baur got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 74th minute, Fabrizio Adriano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bar Marconi United's Florian Troiani was substituted for Davide Spadoni. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrizio Adriano, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Fabrizio Adriano might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabrizio Adriano ran back to his position shaking his head. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrizio Adriano in the 93rd minute of play. Fabrizio Adriano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
