Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 7 minutes into the match, Austria's Fabio Schneider sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hieronim Karanowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 19 minutes, Ludomil Wos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolleinen and the Austria players grew even worse after the yellow card. Austria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Galishoff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabio Schneider struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Hieronim Karanowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Austria. Hieronim Karanowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Nalder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Nalder. Sandro Galishoff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hieronim Karanowski having to make a save. Eugeniusz Golec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hieronim Karanowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Schneider in the 44th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sandro Galishoff made a kick off. Jonas Nalder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hieronim Karanowski having to interfere. Radomil Scislowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hieronim Karanowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabio Schneider showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 67 minute of play. After 69 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Schneider. After 71 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Marvin Harrer. In the 73rd match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Seidler to maneuver through the defense. Olgierd Jerzyk hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Leonhard Maier charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonhard Maier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
