Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adriano Corleone started the match with the kick off. Wilson Amorim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adriano Corleone showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. After having played for 8 minutes, Adriano Corleone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Savicevic Show's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Corleone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Savicevic Show's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Armando Salemme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Savicevic Show's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eugenio Di Rado in the 18th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Portugal's goalie and right to Ettore Moriggi. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Portugal's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some careless play in the Savicevic Show defense, Felipe Barreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Salemme. The Savicevic Show fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Salemme should have stopped the shot. Armando Salemme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 26th minute of play. Adriano Corleone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A throw-in in the 34th minute of the game was made by Raul Caetano with Felipe Barreto as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ettore Moriggi got free with Wilson Amorim in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Viriato Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Graciano Coutinho's late challenge caught a Savicevic Show's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Graciano Coutinho helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Savicevic Show booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graciano Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viriato Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Savicevic Show's Adriano Corleone made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Savicevic Show's Armando Salemme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Savicevic Show from getting a goal against them. Armando Salemme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 63rd minute of play. Armando Salemme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 67th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Savicevic Show's goalkeeper Armando Salemme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Savicevic Show's Armando Salemme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Savicevic Show from getting a goal against them. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. A sloppy throw-in by Flavio Piscopo in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. In the 80th minute, Ettore Moriggi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartolomeu Dias in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Salemme saved Savicevic Show from getting behind. In the 91st minute of the match Portugal got a corner. Savicevic Show's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Pimentel ran over to the corner to take the kick. The throw-in from Caetano Moreira in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Savicevic Show's Ermanno Giacchetti. Portugal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
