Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gigel Chirculescu kicked off to start the match. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Chirculescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. If Gigel Chirculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 8 minutes into the match, France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gigel Chirculescu. Gigel Chirculescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxime Durand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Balaceanu UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Alucai to maneuver through the defense. Maxime Durand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gigel Chirculescu in the 21st minute. Iustinian Burdujan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxime Durand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Cristi Bădiță hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. France's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by David Barbier in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Baume in the 32nd minute of play forced Balaceanu UFC's goalkeeper Dorin Orghidan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gigel Chirculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute of the match, Iustinian Burdujan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maxime Durand saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Iustinian Burdujan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. If David Barbier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Frank Peletier made the kick off in the second half. Gigel Chirculescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, France's Jean Bombelles got a free kick in the 60th minute. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Chirculescu in the 61st minute of play. After some careless play in the France defense, Gigel Chirculescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maxime Durand. The France fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maxime Durand should have stopped the shot. If Iustinian Burdujan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Balaceanu UFC! In the 76th minute, Iustinian Burdujan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of France booed when Balaceanu UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustinian Burdujan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Alexis Bruneau hit a great ball. If Gigel Chirculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 87 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Chirculescu came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Frank Peletier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dorin Orghidan. Balaceanu UFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Peletier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a little luck, Balaceanu UFC's Dorin Orghidan got control of the ball when Frank Peletier tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Baume in the 96th minute of play forced Balaceanu UFC's goalkeeper Dorin Orghidan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
