Cléberson Neves ran back to his position shaking his head. Cléberson Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. Christof Deroek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 9th minute of the match. Christof Deroek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Abid Bubalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siricio Liotta in the 25th minute of play forced Selebi-Phikwe's goalkeeper Christof Deroek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Italy's attentive Siricio Liotta managed to snatch the ball when Victor Nelson made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. A collision led to Selebi-Phikwe getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Victor Nelson hit a great ball. The supporters of Italy booed when Selebi-Phikwe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. I Putu Okbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Selebi-Phikwe fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Italy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
