Kryspin Falk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Flavio Vittori when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zaccheo Andolina in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaac Fix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mariusz Mindykowski struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Flavio Vittori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter Milano. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnaba Kolba in the 27th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Mariusz Mindykowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaac Fix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 35th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnaba Kolba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofil Kornasiewicz got a throw-in 64 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Wlodzimierz Dziewulski. Italy's Gomberto Picozzi suffered a fractured collar bone after 70 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Kryspin Falk's late challenge caught a Italy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kryspin Falk helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Italy booed when Inter Milano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position.
