In the 19th minute Orhan Yaren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdurrahim Kutlualp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdurrahim Kutlualp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 25th minute of the match. Ali Cafer Dağasan's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Cafer Dağasan helped the player get up and apologised. Ali Cafer Dağasan hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Abdurrahim Kutlualp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Geovani Batista reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnout Reekers. The goal made the score 1-2. Abdurrahim Kutlualp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orhan Yaren in the 38th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geovani Batista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If David Eikelkamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdurrahim Kutlualp. Abdurrahim Kutlualp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Candar SK's Norberto Tipi was substituted for Ali Cafer Dağasan. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 68th minute. Norberto Tipi hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Egbert Nijveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute Orhan Yaren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdurrahim Kutlualp having to interfere. A beautiful save bye Candar SK's goalie prevented a goal. After 83 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by David Eikelkamp.
