The supporters of Germany booed when Almazarrón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Harroyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Bellucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute Germany were awarded a corner. Frank Sachs went to the cornerflag to take it. Aurelio Vodanovic received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Aurelio Vodanovic slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 40th minute. Franco Bellucci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 43rd minute of the match.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Astrit Melisarov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franco Bellucci having to make a save. Almazarrón were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Astrit Melisarov took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Astrit Melisarov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 64 minutes into the match, Almazarrón's goalkeeper Franco Bellucci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Ruisko in the 69th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Aurelio Vodanovic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Albin Holweck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 87th minute. Albin Holweck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
