Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lothar Drinkard got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lothar Drinkard in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paul Some was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Schonebeck's players had a chance to rest. Paul Some made a great header on FC Schonebeck's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. Lance Malliouris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Schonebeck's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Sachs was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest. Mustafa Ekrem Avşar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Lothar Drinkard put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Lothar Drinkard succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 20th playminute. In the 24th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Malliouris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Germany booed when FC Schonebeck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Some didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 minutes, Anselm Hayer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Schonebeck and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, FC Schonebeck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselm Hayer to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Sachs in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lance Malliouris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lothar Drinkard went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Michael Laudrup charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael Laudrup the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Michael Laudrup kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Sokolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 41 minutes, Anselm Hayer made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 47 in the game by Lothar Drinkard from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lothar Drinkard in the 52nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lothar Drinkard in the 54th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lothar Drinkard in the 55th minute of play. FC Schonebeck's Boris Spengler got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mustafa Ekrem Avşar took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Frank Sachs hit a great ball. Frank Sachs kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. When Adrian Dreifuss fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Adrian Dreifuss a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. Paul Some, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Paul Some took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Spengler in the 77th minute of play. FC Schonebeck made a substitution. Carmine Anastasi replaced Michael Laudrup. Paul Some made in the 83rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Mustafa Ekrem Avşar however managed to control. After 83 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Ekrem Avşar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Persson came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Schonebeck had won after a very even match.
