Juan Barquero might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Renderos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Barquero ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgar Santamaria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Renderos having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Barquero got free with Camilo Renderos in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 85 minutes into the match, Manchester's Juan Barquero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Renderos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manchester's Max Castaneda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonso Flores in the 89th minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Alfredo Giron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bishop Stortford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Giron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Renderos made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Juan Barquero sent off a good shot on target. Manchester's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
