Spectators: 7127 (Terracing: 6127, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mariano Moreno started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Meols FC's goalkeeper Max Lovo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute Lorenzo Olmedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Lovo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Moreno took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franklin Medina. Franklin Medina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Max Lovo was a little too slow when Lorenzo Olmedo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Lorenzo Olmedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.D. Atletico Marte's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Olmedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Lovo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Franklin Medina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Kazimierz Nowakowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Lorenzo Olmedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.D. Atletico Marte's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Olmedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Lovo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lorenzo Olmedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenzo Olmedo struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Max Lovo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.D. Atletico Marte. After a defensive mix-up in Meols FC's zone, Erick Mendez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Lovo came out of the goal and Erick Mendez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lorenzo Olmedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Lovo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Carmelo Rivera managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.D. Atletico Marte's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmelo Rivera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Lovo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kazimierz Nowakowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Max Lovo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 53rd minute Lorenzo Olmedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Lovo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The C.D. Atletico Marte fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when C.D. Atletico Marte's Alexis Rosales looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Kazimierz Nowakowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alfredo Galdamez came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Meols FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Galdamez couldn't finish the play. In the 74th match minute, Meols FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jhonnatan Villanueva to maneuver through the defense. Murilo Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexis Rosales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Max Lovo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kazimierz Nowakowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C.D. Atletico Marte made a substitution. Shawn Barreto replaced Benjamín Umaña. After having played for 87 minutes, Lorenzo Olmedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.D. Atletico Marte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Olmedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kazimierz Nowakowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Max Lovo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kazimierz Nowakowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Max Lovo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Olmedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
