Manuel Morales was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alonso Palma's late challenge caught a C.D. Atletico Marte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alonso Palma helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to C.D. Atletico Marte getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Alexis Rosales hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Shawn Boianelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Nunes in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franklin Medina saved C.D. Atletico Marte from getting behind. Kazimierz Nowakowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Kazimierz Nowakowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Jairo Moreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hildenborough FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.D. Atletico Marte the free kick. Jairo Moreira hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Manuel Morales made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erick Mendez in the 33rd minute. C.D. Atletico Marte's Kazimierz Nowakowski got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Shawn Erazo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenzo Olmedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Morales. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The wind increased when Arturo Nunes made the kick off in the second half. Alexis Rosales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. When Erick Mendez came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the C.D. Atletico Marte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erick Mendez couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute Lorenzo Olmedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Morales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th match minute, C.D. Atletico Marte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Rosales to maneuver through the defense. Baltazar Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Franklin Medina made a huge save. Franklin Medina yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. When the referee ended the match the C.D. Atletico Marte players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
