When Richard Paredes came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Immingham FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Paredes couldn't finish the play. Julio Batres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Salguero having to interfere. If Julio Batres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Roberto Henriquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Immingham FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Henriquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldir Erazo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roberto Henriquez was the one to do the kick off. Libardo Menjivar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Salguero having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Julio Batres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Julio Batres got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 68 minutes into the match, Immingham FC's goalkeeper Ladislao Salguero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Batres. After a rather tough play, Immingham FC's Dagoberto Prado got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 75th play minute Julio Batres came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ladislao Salguero. 2-1. 79 minutes into the game, one of Kingswear FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Patricio Bautista walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The supporters of Immingham FC booed when Kingswear FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Batres didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Richard Paredes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Immingham FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Paredes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Waldir Erazo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Henriquez in the 88th minute of play. If Julio Batres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Barreto charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Omar Barreto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Omar Barreto hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Kingswear FC were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Immingham FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pedro Rosales took the corner. The corner led to Kingswear FC's Juan Del Cid getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 100 minutes into the match, Kingswear FC's Julio Batres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ladislao Salguero narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
