After a rather tough play, Kingswear FC's Felipe Fernandez got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 7 minutes, Eusébio Costa made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kingswear FC's Waldir Erazo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th match minute, Kingswear FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Italo Larraguibel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sérgio Busquet's late challenge caught a Kingswear FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sérgio Busquet helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Municipal Limeño getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Sérgio Busquet hit a great ball. In the 14th minute of the match Pedro Rosales sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Javier Telmo skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusébio Costa in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldir Erazo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Municipal Limeño booed when Kingswear FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Guardado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusébio Costa in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. The Kingswear FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldir Erazo should have stopped the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Kingswear FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Costa came free, but Waldir Erazo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kingswear FC's Waldir Erazo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Kingswear FC from getting a goal against them. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Libardo Menjivar made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Libardo Menjivar took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Javier Telmo to make any attempt to save it. If Eusébio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Eusébio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Municipal Limeño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusébio Costa couldn't finish the play. After 64 minutes, Eusébio Costa made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kingswear FC's Waldir Erazo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute, Eusébio Costa made a precise shot to the right of Waldir Erazo. Kingswear FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. If Babbis Makos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Eusébio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st match minute, Kingswear FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erick Rojas to maneuver through the defense. In the 85thth minute of the game Eusébio Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kingswear FC's Waldir Erazo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Justino Favila came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Municipal Limeño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Favila couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Eusébio Costa sped through Kingswear FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Waldir Erazo. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Municipal Limeño had played much better football throughout.
