Spectators: 6848 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dirk Finken started the match with the kick off. In the 13thth minute of the game Dirk Finken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kelvedon's Alejandro Hinguanzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dirk Finken struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Alejandro Hinguanzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alianza F.C.. Alejandro Hinguanzo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Alas went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute, Adolfo Alas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alianza F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Alexander Bonilla charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Bonilla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Alianza F.C. booed when Kelvedon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Bonilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 played minutes Kelvedon got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Llorente. Adolfo Alas struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Alejandro Hinguanzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alianza F.C.. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kelvedon's goalkeeper Alejandro Hinguanzo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jairo Ayala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Bonilla in the 33rd minute of the match. Kelvedon's Alejandro Hinguanzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Alas in the 37th minute of play. Jairo Ayala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Bonilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Diego Messias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jairo Ayala. Alianza F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Messias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

60 minutes into the game, Dirk Finken lined in a short shot 3-4 behind a frustrated Alejandro Hinguanzo. When Kelvedon's Ladislao Llorente in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alianza F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Henriquez in the 66th minute of play forced Alianza F.C.'s goalkeeper Jairo Ayala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes of play, Kelvedon's Ladislao Llorente made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jairo Ayala was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kelvedon's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Ariel Ferman scored to the left of an out of position Alejandro Hinguanzo, making the score, 4-5. Alejandro Hinguanzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dirk Finken's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute Benji Corpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Hinguanzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Ayala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Henriquez in the 82nd minute of play. Alejandro Hinguanzo was a little too slow when Benji Corpe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 5-6. In the 90th minute, Dirk Finken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 95 minutes, Wilber Orobio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alianza F.C. and the Kelvedon players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wilber Orobio hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Andrés Menjivar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kelvedon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-6. Alianza F.C. were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
