If Hugo Viscarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deris Coria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Magaña read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Leopoldo Magaña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deris Coria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Villacorta, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. During this time Bulkington AFC's players had a chance to rest. Armando Villacorta made a great header on Bulkington AFC's corner, it was just that Billericay's Leopoldo Magaña managed to reach the ball for a save. Leopoldo Magaña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deris Coria, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After having played for 67 minutes, Elias Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Billericay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Medina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Viscarra got free with Ulises Castaneda in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Bulkington AFC's Ismael Carrillo got a free kick in the 78th minute. Hugo Viscarra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Ulises Castaneda skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 84 minutes into the match, Bulkington AFC's goalkeeper Ulises Castaneda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Viscarra. Félix Berrueta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leopoldo Magaña stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Deris Coria's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Billericay walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
