After 10 played minutes, Willenhall FC's Dennys Zapata shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristian Renderos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Willenhall FC reached it. In the 15th minute, Nicolás Del Carmen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alberto Vasquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Molina charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Molina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ivan Molina kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of Willenhall FC booed when Penzance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Saul Del Cid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Willenhall FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Del Cid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Renderos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saul Del Cid's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Renderos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Allan Sigaran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saul Del Cid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Renderos having to interfere. Cristian Renderos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Sigaran in the 43rd minute of the match. Arturo Villacorta charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arturo Villacorta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Arturo Villacorta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Douglas Mendez made a kick off. Cristian Renderos came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Willenhall FC's Allan Sigaran. But to his dismay, Allan Sigaran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cristian Renderos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Villacorta in the 57th minute. Willenhall FC were furious when Adolfo Gallardo was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 60th minute, one of Willenhall FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Willenhall FC. Shawn Palma hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Alberto Vasquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Douglas Mendez in the 69th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a rather tough play, Willenhall FC's Arturo Villacorta got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 71 played minutes Penzance got a freekick which was hit by Rene Bran. Douglas Mendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Galdamez having to interfere. Alberto Vasquez struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Miguel Galdamez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penzance. 82 minutes into the match, Willenhall FC's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Mendez came free, but Miguel Galdamez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Douglas Mendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the game, Douglas Mendez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Penzance's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Willenhall FC the free kick. Alberto Vasquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Galdamez having to interfere. Alberto Vasquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Miguel Galdamez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Galdamez didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Penzance's Alberto Vasquez shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Penzance's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
