Spectators: 6862 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1862, VIP seats: 0) Franklin Bran started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Carterton's Rony Barraza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Carterton from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Odir Botello in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejandro Quintanilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Hadleigh AFC's zone, Alvaro Alvarado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Quintanilla came out of the goal and Alvaro Alvarado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Odir Botello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rony Barraza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Bran in the 25th minute of play. Danilo Villarreal hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 34 played minutes Hadleigh AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Ramos. Rony Barraza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Bran, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Alejandro Quintanilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odir Botello, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Hadleigh AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Alvarado came free, but Alejandro Quintanilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvaro Alvarado to make the kick off. A collision led to Hadleigh AFC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Roberto Molina hit a great ball. Carterton's Odir Botello got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Hadleigh AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Alvarado came free, but Alejandro Quintanilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Bonilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rony Barraza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Carterton's Edgardo Braun got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute, Odir Botello made a precise shot to the right of Alejandro Quintanilla. Hadleigh AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Alvaro Alvarado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 minutes, Felipe Rivera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hadleigh AFC and the Carterton players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Hadleigh AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Rivera to maneuver through the defense. When Daniel Mora fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hadleigh AFC's protests and gave Daniel Mora a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Carterton booed when Hadleigh AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Mora didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute Danilo Cruz managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. A collision led to Hadleigh AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Roberto Molina hit a great ball. If Odir Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Alvarado in the 84th minute of play forced Hadleigh AFC's goalkeeper Alejandro Quintanilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hadleigh AFC's Franklin Bran got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Bran in the 89th minute of play forced Carterton's goalkeeper Rony Barraza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, one of Carterton:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carterton. Rony Barraza had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping Felipe Cabrera's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Cesar Bonilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
