Spectators: 6858 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1858, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Christian Prado got the match started through his kick off. Francisco Villanueva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Arango, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Villanueva came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Hayle's Avilio Carrillo. But to his dismay, Avilio Carrillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Sarbelio Bran hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Christian Prado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Chavez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 13th minute Patricio Arango shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Villanueva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute Francisco Palma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Villanueva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Villanueva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Arango, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Jairo Oporto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Prado in the 21st minute of play forced Hayle's goalkeeper Hugo Chavez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 33 minutes into the game, when Ruben Palma put in a rough tackle. In the 33rd minute, one of Club de Futbol San Miguel:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club de Futbol San Miguel. Agustin Guerra shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Jairo Oporto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute Patricio Arango shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Villanueva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Club de Futbol San Miguel's Francisco Villanueva got control of the ball when Avilio Carrillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. A throw-in in the 47th minute of the game was made by Omar Villarreal with Sarbelio Bran as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Club de Futbol San Miguel made a substitution. Max Rivero replaced Patricio Sanchez. Club de Futbol San Miguel's Francisco Villanueva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Arango in the 76th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sarbelio Bran in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Villanueva saved Club de Futbol San Miguel from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Arango in the 92nd minute of play forced Club de Futbol San Miguel's goalkeeper Francisco Villanueva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Hayle's Danilo Castaneda got a free kick in the 96th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hayle had won after a very even match.
