But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jhalmar Gamero couldn't finish the play. If Francisco Rosales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the game, Januario Barrera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bideford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coalville United the free kick. In the 43rd match minute, Bideford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Januario Barrera to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Barraza went to the wrong direction when Zelvin Liborio was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a rather tough play, Coalville United's Pablo Muñoz got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute Alvaro Campos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deris Barrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Rosales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Barraza having to interfere.
