Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Benjamín Barraza made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, NO MERCY's Leonel Asad got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 5 minutes into the match, NO MERCY's Benjamín Barraza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jhalmar Escalante narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Odir Zapata managed to get in a good position for a shot. NO MERCY's supporters rose to their feet, but Odir Zapata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jhalmar Escalante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Selvin Giron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Misael Gallegos having to interfere. Selvin Giron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Odir Zapata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the NO MERCY defense, Ismael Pineda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Misael Gallegos. The NO MERCY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Misael Gallegos should have stopped the shot. In the 30th match minute, Whitwell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Quijada to maneuver through the defense. When NO MERCY's Benjamín Barraza in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Whitwell's goalie prevented a goal. Selvin Giron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Misael Gallegos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of NO MERCY booed when Whitwell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Coreas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jhalmar Escalante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamín Barraza, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. If Ismael Pineda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Misael Gallegos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Pineda in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to NO MERCY getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Luis Hernández hit a great ball. Jhalmar Umaña, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Selvin Giron made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Whitwell's zone, Odir Zapata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jhalmar Escalante came out of the goal and Odir Zapata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, NO MERCY's Leonel Asad got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 61 minutes, Ismael Pineda made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. NO MERCY's Misael Gallegos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute of the match, Selvin Giron tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Misael Gallegos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ismael Pineda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Misael Gallegos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Whitwell's Ismael Pineda got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Selvin Giron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Misael Gallegos having to interfere. Selvin Giron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, NO MERCY's goalkeeper Misael Gallegos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Pineda. Jhalmar Escalante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamín Barraza in the 79th minute of the match. If Odir Zapata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jhalmar Escalante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamín Barraza, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 99th minute of the match NO MERCY got a corner. Whitwell's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wilber Liborio ran over to the corner to take the kick. NO MERCY's Wilber Liborio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jhalmar Escalante in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the final whistle sounded Whitwell left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than NO MERCY.
