The crowd rose to their feet as No name's Nicolás Orozco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raúl Guerrero. That made the score 0-1 after 55 minutes of play. Nicolás Orozco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Raúl Guerrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Preston's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Nicolás Orozco scored to the left of an out of position Raúl Guerrero, making the score, 0-2. Alberto Lozano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Coreas, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Preston's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolás Orozco came free, but Raúl Guerrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lorenzo Carranza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Lozano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play.
