Spectators: 8111 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1951, VIP seats: 160) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Christian Guevara got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in East Grinstead United's zone, Christian Guevara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Moreno came out of the goal and Christian Guevara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot by Alexis Chavez from long distance, 6 minutes into the match, got Patricio Moreno's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Miguel Pérez hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 11 played minutes Aguila got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Toledano. In the 13th minute, East Grinstead United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ramon Castro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 19 minutes into the game, Ladislao Castaneda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dennys Posadas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Lorenzo Pimentel, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 24 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dennys Posadas was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aguila! The referee gave East Grinstead United a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pedro Pacheco, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aguila's Dennys Posadas. 0-2. After 35 minutes Aguila's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedro Pacheco who took care of the corner kick. The corner led East Grinstead United's Esteban Costas to fire away a dangerous shot which Dennys Posadas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ladislao Castaneda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennys Posadas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Lorenzo Pimentel took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dennys Posadas. Dennys Posadas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Dennys Posadas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Ladislao Castaneda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennys Posadas having to interfere. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aguila! Christian Guevara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aguila's Christian Guevara got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Aguila booed when East Grinstead United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Félix Braun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Guevara might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patricio Moreno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Guevara ran back to his position shaking his head. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. East Grinstead United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
