After a defensive mix-up in Alascraft95 FC's zone, Benji Guardado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Ruiz came out of the goal and Benji Guardado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Saul Rey fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alascraft95 FC's protests and gave Saul Rey a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Alascraft95 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Rey to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Alascraft95 FC defense, Benji Guardado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mario Ruiz. The Alascraft95 FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mario Ruiz should have stopped the shot. Alascraft95 FC's Mario Ruiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Suarez in the 24th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Libardo Galeas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 28 minutes into the game, Rony Najarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alascraft95 FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santa Tecla F.C. the free kick. After 28 played minutes Alascraft95 FC got a freekick which was hit by Rony Najarro. The crowd rose to their feet as Alascraft95 FC's Marcelo Salinas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Libardo Galeas. That made the score 2-1 after 30 minutes of play. Santa Tecla F.C.'s Libardo Galeas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Najarro in the 34th minute of play. Libardo Galeas came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Alascraft95 FC's Ramon Guerra. But to his dismay, Ramon Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Mario Ruiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benji Guardado's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. If Benji Guardado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benji Guardado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Santa Tecla F.C.'s Libardo Galeas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Najarro in the 51st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Rony Najarro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alascraft95 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rony Najarro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Libardo Galeas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Libardo Galeas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Najarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Ruiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benji Guardado in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Paolo Suarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alascraft95 FC were furious when Amilcar Salazar was red carded, 67 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Mario Ruiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benji Guardado in the 72nd minute of the match. Libardo Galeas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramon Guerra's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Marcelo Salinas hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 85thth minute of the game Benji Guardado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alascraft95 FC's Mario Ruiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jaime Ortiz charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Ortiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Alascraft95 FC booed when Santa Tecla F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Libardo Galeas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Salinas, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Tecla F.C.'s zone, Saul Rey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Libardo Galeas came out of the goal and Saul Rey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alascraft95 FC's Mario Ruiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benji Guardado in the 97th minute of play. Alascraft95 FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Santa Tecla F.C. for a fine match.
