Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ernesto Boianelli started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Netherton's Efrain Muñoz got control of the ball when Antonio Amaya tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 9 played minutes Netherton got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Rivera. Marvin Medina was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Zelvin Rivas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Efrain Muñoz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ernesto Boianelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jose Madariaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zelvin Rivas in the 23rd minute of play. In the 31st minute Ernesto Boianelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Muñoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Amaya struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Efrain Muñoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wigston. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Jose Madariaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zelvin Rivas in the 53rd minute of play. If Zelvin Rivas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zelvin Rivas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Netherton booed when Wigston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Tobar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marvin Medina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Netherton's Ramon Rivera got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd match minute, Netherton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Paz to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Boianelli took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Efrain Muñoz. Efrain Muñoz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Wigston's Ernesto Tobar got a free kick in the 77th minute. The supporters of Netherton booed when Wigston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Ramirez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giovani Granados was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Ernesto Boianelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wigston fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 91 minutes into the game, Yasir Boianelli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Netherton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wigston the free kick. After a rather tough play, Netherton's Yasir Boianelli got a free kick in the 91st minute. Ernesto Boianelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Efrain Muñoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wigston walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
