Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sarbelio Mendoza got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute, Gabriel Santamaria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Osorio in the 9th minute of play forced Atletico Salvador's goalkeeper Jose Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sarbelio Mendoza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Campos having to make a save. Atletico Salvador's Avilio Navarro got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Osorio in the 19th minute of play forced Atletico Salvador's goalkeeper Jose Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Atletico Salvador getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Rene Mondragon hit a great ball. Alberto Osorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Sarbelio Mendoza made a precise shot to the right of Jose Campos. Atletico Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 32 minutes into the match, Atletico Salvador's Avilio Navarro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franklin Barreto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Roberto Hinguanzo came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Cromer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Hinguanzo couldn't finish the play. Jose Campos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sarbelio Mendoza went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 43rd minute, Sarbelio Mendoza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sarbelio Mendoza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Campos having to interfere. After the first half Cromer were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Santamaria was the one to do the kick off. Franklin Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avilio Navarro in the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, Avilio Navarro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Franklin Barreto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Franklin Barreto came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Salvador's Gabriel Santamaria. But to his dismay, Gabriel Santamaria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 63 minutes into the match, Atletico Salvador's Gabriel Santamaria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franklin Barreto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 64 played minutes Cromer got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Coria. Franklin Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avilio Navarro in the 67th minute of the match. Avilio Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Barreto having to interfere. Gabriel Santamaria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 79 minutes, Gabriel Santamaria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Santamaria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cromer's Roberto Hinguanzo got a free kick in the 80th minute. Gabriel Santamaria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Franklin Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sarbelio Mendoza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Osorio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Jose Campos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Shawn Oporto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franklin Barreto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, one of Cromer:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cromer:s Franklin Barreto showed great skill when he stopped Paolo Medina:s penalty. In the 99th match minute, Cromer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Hinguanzo to maneuver through the defense. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
