After 23 played minutes Hemel Hempstead City got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Collado. 25 minutes into the game, Sarbelio Mendoza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Oscar Mendoza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jhonnatan Granados sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Cromer's Franklin Barreto got control of the ball when Jhonnatan Granados tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaac Coria during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cromer getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Isaac Coria hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sarbelio Mendoza was the one to do the kick off. If Sarbelio Mendoza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57thth minute of the game Mauro Galeas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cromer's Franklin Barreto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Hemel Hempstead City's Carmelo Collado got a free kick in the 60th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Cromer's Eraldo Velis tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jhonnatan Granados sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cromer players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hemel Hempstead City.
