But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Galeas couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Biggleswade's goalkeeper Richard Barraza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jhonnatan Granados. In the 44th minute, Fidel Prado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Mendoza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauro Galeas made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Biggleswade got a freekick which was hit by Jhonnatan Contrera. Biggleswade's Richard Barraza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Galeas in the 52nd minute of play. After 54 played minutes Biggleswade got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Cetino. In the 55th minute, Alexis Uranga sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Biggleswade's Richard Barraza didn't even have to move. When Emiliano Magaña fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Biggleswade's protests and gave Emiliano Magaña a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Biggleswade getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Emiliano Magaña hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jhonnatan Granados in the 60th minute of play forced Biggleswade's goalkeeper Richard Barraza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Prado came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Oscar Mendoza could save by the left post. If Jhonnatan Granados had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Biggleswade's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Galeas came free, but Richard Barraza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Mondragon hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Jhonnatan Granados's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Barraza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Jhonnatan Granados received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Richard Barraza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Biggleswade's Richard Barraza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jhonnatan Granados in the 81st minute of play. After 84 played minutes Hemel Hempstead City got a freekick which was hit by Jhonnatan Granados. 85 minutes into the match, Mauro Galeas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Richard Barraza. Biggleswade's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Galeas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Richard Barraza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Galeas in the 90th minute of play. Fidel Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Biggleswade players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Hemel Hempstead City from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
