Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Antonio Amaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 4 minutes, Ernesto Boianelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wigston's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Boianelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernesto Boianelli in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franklin Barreto saved Cromer from getting behind. Franklin Barreto stood somewhat misplaced when Ernesto Boianelli came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 9 minute. Antonio Amaya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Franklin Barreto made a huge save. Ernesto Boianelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Barreto having to interfere. Antonio Amaya who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Franklin Barreto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Cromer's Roberto Hinguanzo got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Cromer's goalkeeper Franklin Barreto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Amaya. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Boianelli in the 34th minute of play forced Cromer's goalkeeper Franklin Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Wigston getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Marvin Medina hit a great ball. Jose Madariaga came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Cromer's Sarbelio Mendoza. But to his dismay, Sarbelio Mendoza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sarbelio Mendoza was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Boianelli in the 56th minute of play forced Cromer's goalkeeper Franklin Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Wigston fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Wigston's Antonio Amaya looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 67th minute, Cromer's Sarbelio Mendoza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jose Madariaga. Jose Madariaga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Amaya in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franklin Barreto saved Cromer from getting behind. Jose Madariaga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Osorio in the 74th minute. Franklin Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Amaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Cromer's Sarbelio Mendoza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jose Madariaga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sarbelio Mendoza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jose Madariaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Boianelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eraldo Velis hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Wigston were the better team. Wigston's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
