Spectators: 6500 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcelo Corpeño started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Dartford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Fuentes to maneuver through the defense. If Ruben Coreas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Allan Benavides managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Santos's supporters rose to their feet, but Allan Benavides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillermo Cortez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Dartford's William Bran got a free kick in the 8th minute. The nice shot from Ruben Coreas in the 9thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Guillermo Cortez had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 16 minutes into the match, Dartford's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Meza came free, but Guillermo Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Alexis Fuentes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emiliano Mondragon was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. The supporters of Dartford booed when CD Santos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Benavides didn't get a good kick on the ball. CD Santos's Arturo Meza got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arturo Meza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Guillermo Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Guillermo Cortez managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when CD Santos's Ruben Coreas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Allan Benavides recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexis Fuentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Mondragon having to interfere. After 55 minutes, Allan Benavides mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Santos and the Dartford players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, CD Santos's Allan Benavides got a free kick in the 55th minute. Emiliano Mondragon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Villatoro in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Coreas in the 62nd minute of play forced Dartford's goalkeeper Guillermo Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruben Coreas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Guillermo Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillermo Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Benavides in the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Dartford's Adolfo Granados got a free kick in the 71st minute. If Arturo Meza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Isaac Castaneda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruben Coreas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 81 played minutes Dartford got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Ventura. Arturo Meza struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Guillermo Cortez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Santos. Ruben Coreas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that CD Santos were the better team. CD Santos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
