Spectators: 6500 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ruben Coreas started the match with the kick off. Ruben Coreas did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Efrain Giron 3 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Ruben Coreas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ruben Coreas had several of the invensibles salvadoreños's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Efrain Giron as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, invensibles salvadoreños's Rudy Monzon got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Benavides in the 22nd minute of play forced invensibles salvadoreños's goalkeeper Efrain Giron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ruben Coreas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Efrain Giron was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Isaac Castaneda managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Santos's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Castaneda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efrain Giron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Efrain Giron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Coreas, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Emiliano Mondragon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Orellana in the 31st minute of the match. Jonathan Pedrozo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Cristian Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, invensibles salvadoreños's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Benavides came free, but Efrain Giron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CD Santos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Meza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Dubon made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Ruben Coreas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Giron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 minutes of play, CD Santos's Ruben Coreas made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Efrain Giron was left in no man's land by his defense there! 60 minutes into the match, invensibles salvadoreños's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Coreas came free, but Efrain Giron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, CD Santos's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Dubon came free, but Emiliano Mondragon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 64 minutes, Ruben Coreas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Santos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Coreas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isaac Castaneda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Giron having to interfere. Efrain Giron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Coreas in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, invensibles salvadoreños's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Meza came free, but Efrain Giron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the invensibles salvadoreños defense, Ruben Coreas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Efrain Giron. The invensibles salvadoreños fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Efrain Giron should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute, Cristian Dubon made a precise shot to the right of Emiliano Mondragon. CD Santos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 81st minute, Elias Parada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emiliano Mondragon was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. CD Santos's Ruben Coreas got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaac Castaneda during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th match minute, CD Santos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Castaneda to maneuver through the defense. Efrain Giron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Coreas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Parada came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emiliano Mondragon could save by the left post. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CD Santos fully deserved thier win.
