Spectators: 6500 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ruben Coreas got the match started through his kick off. Ruben Coreas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 6 played minutes CD Santos got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Meza. Emiliano Mondragon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Arango in the 8th minute of play. Emiliano Mondragon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Misael Vasquez in the 9th minute of the match. Hockley's Manuel Mejia got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Misael Vasquez in the 13th minute of play forced CD Santos's goalkeeper Emiliano Mondragon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hockley's zone, Ruben Coreas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Primitivo Barrera came out of the goal and Ruben Coreas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Hockley booed when CD Santos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Castaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, CD Santos's goal looked a bit too open when Dennys Corpeño came free, but Emiliano Mondragon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Primitivo Barrera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruben Coreas's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Arturo Meza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Barrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Coreas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 played minutes Hockley got a freekick which was hit by Misael Vasquez. Manuel Mejia's late challenge caught a CD Santos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Mejia helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hockley getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Manuel Mejia hit a great ball. Ruben Coreas might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Primitivo Barrera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruben Coreas ran back to his position shaking his head. Primitivo Barrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Coreas in the 35th minute of the match. Hockley's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Ruben Coreas scored to the left of an out of position Primitivo Barrera, making the score, 1-0. After 42 minutes, Ruben Coreas made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hockley's Primitivo Barrera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ruben Coreas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Primitivo Barrera made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Dennys Corpeño made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of CD Santos booed when Hockley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Mejia didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruben Coreas in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Primitivo Barrera saved Hockley from getting behind. After having played for 60 minutes, Isaac Castaneda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Santos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Castaneda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Primitivo Barrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Coreas in the 64th minute of play. Primitivo Barrera came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by CD Santos's Ruben Coreas. But to his dismay, Ruben Coreas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Hockley's Primitivo Barrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Meza in the 71st minute of play. The CD Santos fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when CD Santos's Ruben Coreas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Primitivo Barrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Coreas, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 78thth minute of the game Ruben Coreas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hockley's Primitivo Barrera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hockley's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Allan Benavides was slow to take the kick. During this time CD Santos's players had a chance to rest. Allan Benavides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Barrera having to interfere. In the 86thth minute of the game Ruben Coreas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hockley's Primitivo Barrera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The CD Santos fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when CD Santos's Ruben Coreas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Coreas during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, CD Santos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Coreas to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that CD Santos were the better team. CD Santos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
