Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Oswaldo Noyola made the kick off which started today's match. Oswaldo Noyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Leopoldo Bonilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Pershore FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo Noyola came free, but Leopoldo Bonilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Oswaldo Noyola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Congresbury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswaldo Noyola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Pershore FC's Ramon Contrera got a free kick in the 19th minute. If Jairo Muñoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oswaldo Noyola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Bonilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Benji Olmedo made in the 34th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Augusto Alas however managed to control. Leopoldo Bonilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benji Olmedo's late challenge caught a Congresbury's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benji Olmedo helped the player get up and apologised. Benji Olmedo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Jairo Muñoz kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The supporters of Congresbury booed when Pershore FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Dubon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oswaldo Noyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Bonilla having to interfere. Enrique Coreas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Dubon, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Congresbury's Benjamín Salamanca got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oswaldo Noyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. William Díaz's late challenge caught a Congresbury's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. William Díaz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pershore FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Benji Olmedo hit a great ball. Congresbury's Oswaldo Noyola got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Ocampo in the 94th minute of play forced Congresbury's goalkeeper Enrique Coreas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Congresbury's Jairo Muñoz got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Jairo Muñoz off the ground. Pershore FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Congresbury for a fine match.
