Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Oswaldo Noyola took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rudy Menjivar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oswaldo Noyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th minute, Oswaldo Noyola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enrique Coreas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Padilla in the 9th minute of play. Ronald Peña's late challenge caught a Congresbury's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronald Peña helped the player get up and apologised. Ronald Peña kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Oswaldo Noyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oswaldo Noyola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rudy Menjivar having to make a save. After some careless play in the Trimley defense, Eliseo Guerra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rudy Menjivar. The Trimley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rudy Menjivar should have stopped the shot. Oswaldo Noyola kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Ladislao Del Cid was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 27 minutes into the match. The supporters of Trimley booed when Congresbury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Del Cid didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Deris Sosa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Enrique Coreas. Deris Sosa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 35th minute, Raúl Sandoval got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute, Jairo Muñoz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Oswaldo Noyola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rudy Menjivar was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. 40 minutes into the game, Congresbury's Jairo Muñoz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseo Guerra helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Angel Padilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trimley's supporters rose to their feet, but Angel Padilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Coreas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rudy Menjivar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Congresbury. Jairo Muñoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Rudy Menjivar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Trimley's zone, Eliseo Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudy Menjivar came out of the goal and Eliseo Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Trimley's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Eliseo Guerra scored to the left of an out of position Rudy Menjivar, making the score, 1-4. After 86 played minutes Trimley got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Nunes. Jairo Muñoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oswaldo Noyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliseo Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Rudy Menjivar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jairo Muñoz struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Rudy Menjivar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Congresbury. Congresbury's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
