Polperro's Henry Zapata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Santamaria in the 15th minute of play. Henry Zapata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Flamenco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Zapata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Santamaria, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Carlos Flamenco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovidio Villatoro hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 39th match minute, Clapham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Flamenco to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Flamenco in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henry Zapata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Antonio Bran fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clapham's protests and gave Antonio Bran a yellow card for diving instead. After 48 played minutes Clapham got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Bran. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Zaldaña stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dennys Orobio didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Polperro's Manuel Zaldaña shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Gilberto Santamaria succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 59th playminute. Gilberto Santamaria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Zapata having to interfere. The Polperro fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Clapham were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
