PIRAÑA - FDFDF's Wilmer Villalobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Fornos in the 4th minute of play. After 6 played minutes PIRAÑA - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Moreira. After 12 minutes, Richard Fuentes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Denholme AFC and the PIRAÑA - FDFDF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Enrique Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Figueroa in the 18th minute of the match. Edwin Figueroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Enrique Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Rojas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Ortiz having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Marcelo Medrano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Denholme AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PIRAÑA - FDFDF the free kick. In the 42nd match minute, Denholme AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Medrano to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Edwin Figueroa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Edwin Figueroa made the kick off in the second half. Edwin Figueroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Enrique Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilmer Muñoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Pablo Cerritos struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Enrique Ortiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PIRAÑA - FDFDF. Enrique Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Figueroa in the 61st minute of play. Edwin Figueroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Ortiz having to interfere. Enrique Ortiz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rony Orellana went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denholme AFC's goalkeeper Enrique Ortiz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 72 minutes into the game, Edwin Figueroa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Enrique Ortiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Enrique Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Rojas in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Denholme AFC's zone, Edwin Figueroa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Ortiz came out of the goal and Edwin Figueroa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, Denholme AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Figueroa came free, but Enrique Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edwin Figueroa took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Ortiz. Enrique Ortiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. If Edwin Figueroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PIRAÑA - FDFDF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
