Cesar Flores hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Guillermo Tobar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Victorino Granados tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salvador Anaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvador Anaya in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henry Zapata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Polperro's Henry Zapata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Anaya in the 38th minute of play. Juan Barragan came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Victorino Granados could save by the left post. Salvador Anaya struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Henry Zapata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportivo Aguila. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Dennys Najarro got a throw-in 76 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fidel Del Cid. In the 80th minute Fidel Del Cid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Granados saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salvador Anaya was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. Club Deportivo Aguila's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Henry Zapata was a little too slow when Salvador Anaya got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-3. When the match was over Club Deportivo Aguila could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Polperro throughout the match.
