Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Maitros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Mondragon came free, but Alvaro Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 4 minutes Maitros FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ismael Hidalgo who took care of the corner kick. Jorge Leiva took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvaro Baptista. Alvaro Baptista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 11th minute Jorge Leiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erick Palencia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Leiva in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Baptista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Pedro Mondragon put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Alvaro Baptista. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Leiva in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Baptista saved Maitros FC from getting behind. Oswaldo Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Manuel Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Jorge Leiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Baptista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Leiva's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Leiva in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Baptista saved Maitros FC from getting behind. Patricio Asad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36thth minute of the game Jorge Leiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maitros FC's Alvaro Baptista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patricio Asad hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Hugo Huezo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. With a little luck, C.D Luis Angel Firpo's Manuel Moreira got control of the ball when David Pimentel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorge Leiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Alvaro Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Maitros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Leiva came free, but Alvaro Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Leiva to strike the kick off in the second half. Jorge Leiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 54 played minutes Maitros FC got a freekick which was hit by Odir Contrera. C.D Luis Angel Firpo's Jorge Leiva got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Mondragon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Alvaro Baptista made a huge save. 60 minutes into the game, Jorge Leiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Alvaro Baptista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 63 minutes into the match, Pedro Mondragon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alvaro Baptista, 0-5. Manuel Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Lima in the 70th minute of the match. C.D Luis Angel Firpo's Manuel Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Lima in the 78th minute of play. If David Pimentel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Huezo during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to C.D Luis Angel Firpo getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Hugo Huezo hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Arturo Mendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Jorge Leiva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Baptista. Maitros FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Leiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. 89 minutes into the game, Jorge Leiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.D Luis Angel Firpo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maitros FC the free kick. A collision led to C.D Luis Angel Firpo getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jorge Leiva hit a great ball. Alvaro Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Leiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Mondragon got free with Alvaro Baptista in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Maitros FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching C.D Luis Angel Firpo's performance. The match ended with a win for C.D Luis Angel Firpo.
