The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the game, West Bromwich's Ronald Díaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. William Pacheco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Diego Canales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Misael Corrales, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 29th minute Ronald Díaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Pacheco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Melendez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. After some careless play in the La Magia For Ever defense, Arnoldo Portillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of William Pacheco. The La Magia For Ever fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that William Pacheco should have stopped the shot. The La Magia For Ever players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. West Bromwich were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronald Díaz to make the kick off. Ronald Díaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but William Pacheco made a huge save. Misael Corrales took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diego Canales. Diego Canales dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 57th match minute, La Magia For Ever was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Moreira to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, West Bromwich's Luis Alvarado got a free kick in the 58th minute. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Ronald Díaz took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for William Pacheco to make any attempt to save it. Diego Canales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Melendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. When Ronald Díaz fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored West Bromwich's protests and gave Ronald Díaz a yellow card for diving instead. La Magia For Ever made a substitution. Armando Cortez replaced Manuel Moreira. The supporters of La Magia For Ever booed when West Bromwich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronald Díaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, La Magia For Ever's Yasir Galeas got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute of the game Alexander Mena made a throw-in which Victor Melendez played forward. La Magia For Ever's Misael Corrales got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diego Canales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Melendez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle went the supporters of West Bromwich were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant La Magia For Ever side.
