In the 17th minute, Baltazar Bentos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Club Atlético Tejutepeque's Ivan Rivero didn't even have to move. 19 minutes into the game, GALENA-NORTH's Marcu Ciupe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Rivero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ivan Rivero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baltazar Bentos went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Angel Hurtado's late challenge caught a GALENA-NORTH's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Hurtado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, Club Atlético Tejutepeque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Hurtado to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Rivero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camilo Rivera in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute Omar Ourente suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 38 minutes of play, GALENA-NORTH's Marcu Ciupe made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emerson Sosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Géza Kocsis made a huge save. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
