Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes in the game, Fernando Victoro fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vinicio Goi having to interfere. Cristo Arotza was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 27 minutes in the game, Fernando Victoro fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vinicio Goi having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Fernando Victoro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vinicio Goi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Victoro in the 47th minute of play forced Pasleam AFC's goalkeeper Vinicio Goi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Victoro to make the kick off. Toluca FC's Constantino Gotzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Berto in the 65th minute of play. Pasleam AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Fernando Victoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantino Gotzon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Kemen in the 85th minute. In the 86thth minute of the game Cristo Arotza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pasleam AFC's Vinicio Goi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, Fernando Victoro made a precise shot to the right of Vinicio Goi. Pasleam AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Toluca FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
