Ovidio Mogel made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Bruno Gauargi sent off a good shot on target. Bruno Gauargi in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ovidio Mogel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Bruno Gauargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Mogel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Jordy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Placido Gorri hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Bruno Gauargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ovidio Mogel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgard Medardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Gaufred having to interfere. Ciriaco Baladi struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Evaristo Gaufred didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neild. The audience was convinced that Edgard Medardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evaristo Gaufred was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 31st minute Edgard Medardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Gaufred saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Nunez Jordy kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ovidio Mogel. That made the score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. Evaristo Gaufred made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Baladi in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Ciriaco Baladi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neild's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciriaco Baladi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evaristo Gaufred showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Medardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Edgard Medardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Gaufred having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Jordy in the 45th minute of play forced Neild's goalkeeper Ovidio Mogel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 49th minute, Nunez Jordy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nunez Jordy to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Neild booed when Cacheuta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Chico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Placido Gorri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Evaristo Gaufred made a huge save. Lucio Neron hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cacheuta AFC's zone, Edgard Medardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Gaufred came out of the goal and Edgard Medardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the game, Saturnino Weterio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Neild's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cacheuta AFC the free kick. After 64 played minutes Neild got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Weterio. In the 67th minute, Bruno Gauargi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cacheuta AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Cacheuta AFC's Evaristo Gaufred proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Cacheuta AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute, Edgard Medardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ciriaco Baladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Edgard Medardo took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Evaristo Gaufred to make any attempt to save it. When Bruno Gauargi came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Cacheuta AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Gauargi couldn't finish the play. Ovidio Mogel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Jordy in the 87th minute of the match. If Ciriaco Baladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Medardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Neild booed when Cacheuta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Neron didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Placido Gorri from long distance, 95 minutes into the match, got Evaristo Gaufred's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Saturnino Weterio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 98 minutes had been played. In the 99th match minute, Neild was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Weterio to maneuver through the defense. Neild's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
