Martin Ursino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Flavio Inge made a huge save. 6 minutes into the match, Guadalajara's goalkeeper Flavio Inge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Ursino. 8 minutes into the match, Real San Luis's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Quirce came free, but Victor Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Ursino got free with Flavio Inge in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Real San Luis were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Guadalajara's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gabriel Gartzea took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Gabriel Gartzea got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Flavio Inge quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Baldomiro Izotz hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Bonifacio Arotza suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After recieving a nice pass, Real San Luis's Gabriel Gartzea tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, one of Guadalajara:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Guadalajara. The goalkeeper, Flavio Inge, was totally fooled by Real San Luis's Gabriel Gartzea, who 23 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 27 played minutes Guadalajara got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Izotz. Flavio Inge was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gabriel Gartzea. Baldomiro Izotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomiro Izotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Tino having to interfere. Guadalajara's Baldomiro Izotz got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patricio Delfino hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. A collision led to Real San Luis getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jorge Mosen hit a great ball. If Gabriel Rosalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 46 minutes, Martin Ursino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real San Luis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Ursino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th match minute, Guadalajara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Izotz to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Jorge Mosen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Inge having to make a save. Flavio Inge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Ursino went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Real San Luis booed when Guadalajara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Rosalio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Ursino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Flavio Inge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Real San Luis's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Izotz came free, but Victor Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Quirce might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Tino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonardo Quirce ran back to his position shaking his head. Flavio Inge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Ursino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baldomiro Izotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Tino having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Patricio Delfino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Martin Ursino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real San Luis were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Guadalajara for a fine match.
