In the 9th minute, Martin Ursino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute Baldomiro Tristan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 minutes of play, Corbett's Baldomiro Tristan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Tino was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Real San Luis getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Bonifacio Arotza hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arsenio Ramos in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Tino saved Real San Luis from getting behind. When Arsenio Ramos, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 25 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Victor Tino was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 29th minute Patricio Delfino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Leobardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bonifacio Arotza hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Baldomiro Tristan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Tino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Jorge Mosen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maximo Leobardo came out and tried to block the shot, but Jorge Mosen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 38th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Corbett's goalkeeper Maximo Leobardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Ursino. Corbett's Maximo Leobardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Mosen in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Baldomiro Tristan made the kick off in the second half. Baldomiro Tristan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Corbett's Fausto Maurino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Real San Luis. Real San Luis's Victor Tino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Real San Luis from getting a goal against them. Arsenio Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
